Aviationtag Lufthansa Airbus A320 D-AIPB

Oldie, but Goldie.

We are proud to announce the newest addition to our Aviationtag Lufthansa fleet – the Airbus A320 with the registration code D-AIPB, nicknamed “Papa Bravo”. This aircraft joins the ranks of our already impressive collection, which includes the Boeing 747, the Boeing 707, and the Airbus A340.

The “Papa Bravo” with the registration code D-AIPB was one of the early models of the A320 project and carried the MSN 70. It was delivered to Lufthansa in October 1989, even before the reunification of Germany. Interestingly, the A320 project has come a long way since then, with Airbus delivering MSN 10,000 to the Middle East Airlines as early as 2020, and MSN 11,137 currently in service.

After over 30 years of loyal service, the D-AIPB was finally decommissioned in 2019 and sold in Oostende in 2020. However, the legacy of this oldie lives on with the release of our Aviationtag Lufthansa Edition, featuring the iconic “Papa Bravo”.
